Caring Homes for the Homeless Inc. was founded in 2022 by a group of concerned community members who wanted to make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest homeless shelters in the area, serving hundreds of men, women, and children each year.

Caring Homes for the Homeless plans to assist thousands of homeless individuals who suffer with a mental health/medical/substance abuse and unemployment. We aim to assist homeless women, men and families find permanent housing, support groups: anger management groups, substance abuse groups, seek employment, and build up their career skills.

Caring Homes for the Homeless, inc. mission is to provide the highest quality transitional housing and mental health services to New York’s neediest and most vulnerable adults, families, and homeless veterans to ensure that their safety, permanency, and well-being leads to a life of stability and promise. Our programs include residential care, educational assistance and remediation, case management, housing, GED training, ESL training, immigration application process, anger management and substance abuse support groups, for adults with mental health challenges and medical issues, and employed/or seeking employment. CHFH offers safety, stability, and lifesaving support to help our clients transform their lives. CHFH programs plans to help more than 50,000 single women, single men and families annually.
We offer a range of services to our residents, including meals, clothing, and access to medical care. Our staff is committed to helping our residents build a better future for themselves and we provide job training and other resources to help them on their journey.
